Wyatt spent the majority of the day practicing his little song. Patiently waiting for the last period of the day to come along. Getting slightly nervous as the moment approached. Getting closer and closer, a lot faster then he’d expected it to be. He practically sprinted to his dorm to grab his guitar off his stand and quickly making his way to the school building once again.
He started about 15 minutes ahead of time, slightly poking his head into the classrooms looking for that particular girl that he wanted to ask to the dance. Being stopped on more then one occasion to get yelled at.
"Mr. Sparks! May I ask why you’re looking into my classroom?" The teacher definitely looked a lot more then a little peeved.
"No sir, I was just looking for someone. Carry on." Wyatt answer simply with a smile. The kid was so incredibly polite that most teachers couldn’t really get mad at him.
Wyatt wandered around the halls for a few more minutes before something caught his attention. A small glimpse of long curly blonde hair from the corner of his eye. He cleared his throat a little and discreetly poked his head in the door, smiling when he saw her sitting at one of the desks.
He set his guitar down just outside the door in the hallway. Wyatt knocked on the door ever so lightly to catch the teacher’s attention.
She looked over at him with a smile, "Mr. Sparks. Do you need something dear?"
He was definitely more then relieved to find out that this teacher was a lot nicer then the last few. Wyatt made his over to her desk and whispered something inaudible in her ear. The teacher responded with a grin and Wyatt made his way back out to grab his guitar.
Wyatt started off playing in the hallway before sauntering back into the room, "Say, wasn’t that a funny day? Gee, you had a funny way-a way about you.A kind of glow of something new. Sure—I’ll admit that I’m the same. Another sucker for the games kids like to play. And the rules they like to use.
A light shadow emerged behind him in the form of wings as he began to glide around the room with a large smile on his face, anxiously anticipating the moment she would get red.
"Don’t you want the feel? Don’t you want the way I feel? Don’t you want the way I feel for you? The sun, telling me the night is done. Well I refuse to let it stop the fun. Close your eyes and make it dark again.
Wyatt hovered around Rosie for a moment and landed beside her continuing his song, ”And kiss, there’s a thought so how ‘bout this? Lets pretend that both our lips are made of candy. After all, we need some sweets every once in a while.
He sang the rest of the song with a set smile on his face before walking up to Rosie and taking her hand in his, “Will you go to the dance with me?”
